1107033 1941, 1107054 1942 and 1107061 1946 to early 1948 when the switch was discontinued. Brushes, Bushings, Springs, Bendix gears, Battery Post, Mechanical switch, Armatures and Field Coils. Each starter comes with a brand-new id tag. Applications are based on engine build year.

There are 3-part numbers used. Armatures that are reused serviced by cleaning and polishing the shaft, straightened if needed commutator is cut polished. If you do not have the polarity reversing switch, please see our listing for 1938 to 1948 applications. Field coils that are reused get a fresh insulating paper wrap.

Not all units get replacement Armatures and Field Coils. This is a Delco Remy starter used in 1941 to early 1948 Chevy's with the polarity reversing switch.
